How to crochet picot stitch:
Make three chain stitches from the point in the round where you want to add the picot stitch. Next you will want to insert your hook in the single crochet stitch in the point where you started to crochet chain stitches.

Yarn over, and draw the yarn through the single crochet stitch and through the loop on the hook.

Let’s put it all together

1 . Sew the neck with the head to the body between Round 8 and Round 20.

2. Sew the tail feathers to the widest part of the tail, beginning from the middle and then sewing 2 feathers on each side.

3. Sew the tail to the back of the body with invisible stitches, working along Round 30 and the bottom of the tail.

4. Sew the wings on the sides of the body between Round 14 and Round 29.

5. Sew on the feet so that your amigurumi peacock could stand on its own.

6. Sew on the beak between the eyes.

7. Sew the crest feathers on the top of the head.
